Project BlogFrom 8 a.m. EST July 24th 2004 to 8 a.m. EST July 25th, bloggers from around the world will update their web logs every half hour on the half hour, in support of their favorite charities. I blogged for the National Marfan Foundation last year in the 2003 Blogathon. I'm ready this year to go all day again in Project Blog. Send Marfan-related materials for me to blog If you have poetry, thoughts, photos, comments, announcements of fund-raising events, stories of life with the Marfan syndrome, memories to share, tall jokes or trivia, or Marfan-related websites you want me to consider blogging, please send them to and clearly indicate that they are for Project Blog or use the form here. Please see the posts from last year, and consider sending me material to post this year! (If you have dial-up, the page may take a while to load as it has several photos). Please send photos as attachments to your e-mail in .jpg format.
If you are interested in sponsoring me in Project Blog, please go to http://www.project-blog.org, create an account, and choose Marfan Life as the charity to sponsor. Visit Marfan Life and other Project Blog websites throughout the day on July 24 th 2004 to see the blogs grow. After the event, you will receive details about how to send donations directly to the National Marfan Foundation. After Project BlogYou will be sent an e-mail from Project Blog reminding you about your pledge and asking you to donate to the National Marfan Foundation. You can do this either by sending a check to the NMF at 22 Manhasset Ave., Port Washington, NY 11050. Please make sure you indicate on your check that the donation is for Jeanette Navia's participation in Project Blog. If your donation is for $25 or more, you can donate online by following these instructions, given to me by the NMF: After Project Blog is over, to donate online, go to the National Marfan Foundation website.
NOTE: Minimum donation for online donations is $25. If someone would like to send less than $25, they can mail a check to the NMF.
Thanks so much! |
