The News Journal ? Marfan syndrome is a daily struggle: “When people used to meet Bobbie Foust, they often would notice the protruding belly on the otherwise slim 42-year-old and ask whether it was a boy or a girl.

Foust, who wasn’t having a baby, got tired of correcting people, so she had a special T-shirt made.

The front reads: ‘I’m not pregnant, I have Marfan syndrome.’ On the back is a laundry list of symptoms that illustrate the complexity of the condition, which affects the connective tissue in her body.”
