7:49 AM Google News just got better withGoogle News Alerts! I've already filled in "Marfan" here, so if you want Google News to send you news alerts about Marfan syndrome, just add your e-mail address, and Google News Alerts will send you an e-mail to verify that you do want to be alerted to news stories that contain the word "Marfan." (Keep in mind that Marfan is also a last name, so some stories, of course, will not be related to the syndrome.) These news alerts from Google News are brand new today, so I don't know how well they work yet.

9:12 AM Here's a great site for people who are tall (or short!) The Height Site. Short or Tall, there's something for all. Lots of good information including where to find clothes and shoes that (might) fit, interesting reading from visitors, tips from visitors on buying cars, discussion about height discrimination. Check it out! (I am not sure the bulletin boards on the site are working right at the moment, but I'll be e-mailing the guy behind the site to see what's up).
